When playing divx encoded video or even xvid encoded video, there is a divx logo appearing on the bottom right corner of the video screen.

The divx logo appears in the start of the video for a few seconds then disappears.

This is because the video player software is using the divx decoder to decode and play the video.

Creaters of Divx is kind enough to allow the de-activation of the logo/watermaker. This can be done at the decoder configuration.

In windows xp start menu go to the following or similar,

All Programs > Divx > Divx Codec > Decoder Configuration Utility

Once in the Decoder configuration, go to the "Toolbar" tab.

Then uncheck "Show DivX logo watermark".
