Was having difficulty with capturing HDV from the Sony GD-HDV700 deck.

Finally found how to set the deck up. The information was from the following website.

On the deck,

1. go into the menu

2. goto in the in/out setting

3. set to HDV

4. set i.Link to off

5. set TV type to 16:9

6. set AV > DV out to off.

Got it working with FCP 6.0.6
